Athens, 13 December 2023 Netcompany-Intrasoft, Greece's largest IT company, received a distinction at the Bravo Sustainability Dialogue & Awards 2023, with an award going to its corporate initiative by the name "Νetcompany-Ιntrasoft ΥOUTH - Actively supporting the next generation" which was chosen out of 466 practices in the "Society" category.
This initiative includes internships, support for student groups and NGOs, donations of technological equipment to schools, educational trips for students and pupils, scholarships, and two leading actions, “Discovering the IT sector” and “More Women in IT”. The first relates to a strategic partnership with the non-profit organisation “The Tipping Point”. As part of it, Netcompany-Intrasoft mentors hold online meetings with school pupils in remote cities, villages and islands in Greece, building bridges with those areas and highlighting the opportunities offered by the digital world. The second seeks to inspire the next generation of girls to envision a future for themselves in the sector, in an effort to tear down potential stereotypes.
